Solitaire Engagement Rings

Solitaires, or single-stone rings, are one of the most popular styles for engagement rings and for good reason. Their simplicity makes them a timeless style, and the focus stays entirely on the centre stone, whether that’s an oval, radiant, emerald-cut, cushion, old mine cushion, round, pear, marquise, or any other shape. diamond or sapphire.

Solitaire rings also suit many hands and can create an elongated look on the finger, which is part of why they continue to be the most requested engagement ring style.

This collection features both solitaire diamond engagement rings and solitaire sapphire engagement rings. Some designs are simple and understated, while others incorporate subtle details that become more noticeable up close.

Solitaire rings are also practical for everyday wear and pear well with wedding bands.

A solitaire in a traditional setting like Over the Moon features a simple basket and band with minimal detailing. This style keeps the focus on the centre stone and has a timeless look that works well with many different shapes.

A cathedral setting like the one in our Radiant ring features raised arches of gold that sweep up toward the centre stone. It adds structure and a more architectural look while still feeling classic.

A hidden halo features a subtle row of small diamonds set beneath the centre stone. It adds sparkle from the side without changing the clean solitaire look from above. Sapphire centre stones pair well with a hidden halo of diamonds, like in our Sweet Romance ring, where the contrast helps the sapphire stand out even more.

A petal setting is a softer solitaire style where the basket is shaped like delicate petals around the centre stone. Our Secret Garden ring, for example, is great for someone drawn to nature. A cathedral can also be added to a petal setting like our Secret Garden Cathedral ring.

A bezel setting like our Still ring is a modern solitaire style where the centre stone is framed in gold rather than held by prongs. It feels clean, secure and a little more contemporary while remaining timeless.
